These are the main services I offer:

• Research and production of a Heritage Statement/Heritage Impact Statement or Statement of Significance to accompany your planning application for work affecting a listed building, a building in a Conservation Area, or another heritage asset

• Desk-based assessments for larger projects which may affect archaeological remains or designated heritage assets such as scheduled monuments or listed buildings

• Archaeological/Cultural Heritage contribution to Environmental Impact Assessments

• Scheduled Monument Consent Applications

• Liaison with English Heritage inspectors and local planning authority archaeological advisors and conservation officers

• Less formal research into the past use of your property

Where needed, I can arrange specialist historic building recording, archaeological watching briefs, and archaeological evaluation trenching. These can all be integrated into a comprehensive report for submission with your application.
